A Walk Around New England

"New England must be beautiful this time of year... all that foliage!”

Since moving back to NH, Michael and I have enjoyed many walks around our town as well as other sundry places throughout NH, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the timing of our move!

Back in WI the leaves would just now be reaching peak but there were never enough red leaves to satisfy this New England girl! The packers aren't the only reason I associate green and gold with WI ;) but that's besides the point...

One of the little surprises about our little home in NH is all the acorns! (You never notice what you didn't see until you starting seeing it again EVERYWHERE!) There's a gorgeous oak tree next to our apartment and every so often an acorn (or 12) will knock on the roof making it sound like someone is at our door (which is only a problem when we are expecting company) ;)

All these ramblings to say, we are thankful for this time of year. The cooler weather, the gorgeous creation that surrounds us, and the reminder that there is a time and a season for all things are just some of the reasons we love taking walks in the fall!

I forgot to mention I saw my first every praying mantis in the WILD!!!!
