Ariel leaned her back against the lockers as she chatted with her best friend who she hadn't seen in a few weeks. As she enjoyed their conversation she felt a tall presence near her. She looked up, curious, and saw a tall, blue-eyed boy standing near her.
"Um, excuse me, thats my locker behind you" he said.
With a blush she stepped aside. He was the same boy her friend told her to ask to home-coming, but he had refused because he didn't know her. In that moment by the lockers, Ariel was smitten.
